Peachtree City is a master-planned town, incorporated in 1962, and a Tree City USA since 2001. Its villages sit under tall loblolly pine, oak, and sweetgum, threaded by three lakes and more than 100 miles of golf cart paths. The city protects that canopy on purpose: a permit for larger trees, buffers and a greenbelt that can't be cleared, and a two-tree minimum on every residential lot.
