Our Story
A local crew that knows the rules, not just the chainsaw.
Tree Removal Peachtree City was started by Grant Holloway, who spent years running tree crews inside Fayette County's HOA-governed subdivisions before deciding homeowners deserved direct access to that same careful, by-the-book approach instead of going through an HOA's approved-vendor list. In a master-planned community where covenants govern everything from mailbox color to which trees can come down, Grant learned early that the cut itself is only half the job — getting the paperwork right the first time, understanding what the city's ordinance actually requires, and not leaving a homeowner to sort out a violation after the fact matters just as much. He started the company with one truck and a small crew, and still walks the permit questions through with every customer himself before anything is scheduled.
Today the team focuses on one thing — tree removal, done safely, correctly, and within Peachtree City's own rules — rather than trying to be a general lawn-and-landscaping outfit. Every job starts with a free, in-person assessment, an honest read on whether a permit applies, and a straightforward price before any chainsaw starts. Peachtree City has carried the Arbor Day Foundation's “Tree City USA” designation since 2001, and the crew treats that reputation as something worth protecting, not a technicality to work around — full cleanup, no shortcuts on the code, and a yard that looks like a crew was never there when the job's done.
We started this company because too many Fayette County homeowners were stuck choosing between a national tree-service franchise that treats every call the same, or a truck-and-a-chainsaw operator who doesn't know — or doesn't mention — what the city's own tree ordinance requires. We wanted to build something different: a small, insured, professional crew that checks the permit rules before recommending anything, prices honestly, and treats a routine backyard removal with the same care as an emergency storm call. Peachtree City's tree code sets real, specific rules — permit thresholds, protected areas, a minimum-tree requirement per lot. We check every job against it before we recommend a plan, not after.
Tree removal is dangerous work, especially near a house, fence, or power line. We don't cut corners on safety to save time, and we walk every property in person before recommending a plan.
You get a written estimate before any work starts, including any permit or Tree Fund fee that applies. If a tree doesn't need to come down, we'll tell you that instead of talking you into an unnecessary job.
A job isn't done until the debris is hauled away and the site looks the way most Peachtree City neighborhoods and HOA covenants expect — not just the tree down.
