What Makes This Different
In most of metro Atlanta, land clearing starts with the equipment. In Peachtree City it starts with a map. Before a skid steer touches the ground we pull the plat and confirm where the tree-save buffers, undisturbed buffers, stream buffers, and the city greenbelt sit — because clearing inside any of them is prohibited without written approval, and every removed tree in a greenbelt carries its own fine. That's the same permit-first habit Grant built the company on inside Fayette County's HOA subdivisions, applied to a bigger footprint. Inside the city it's usually a wooded back lot gone to privet and sweetgum saplings behind one of the older Glenloch or Wynnmeade homes, or a lot being opened up for a pool or an addition. Out toward Brooks, Woolsey, and Senoia, where the acreage gets bigger, it's pasture edges losing ground to scrub and building sites that need the brush gone before a foundation goes in. We run the heavier equipment — skid steer and forestry-mulcher attachments, not just chainsaws — and we know which trees on the site need a permit before the equipment rolls.

Land clearing prices swing more than a single removal — density, slope, tree size mixed into the brush, and whether debris is hauled or mulched on-site all move the number. These are general planning figures, not a quote; every job gets an on-site walk-through and a written estimate before work starts.
Forestry mulching and skid-steer clearing move faster and leave a cleaner finished grade than hand-clearing an area tree by tree.
Buffers, easements, and greenbelt lines are checked before the estimate is written, so nothing gets cleared that the city or your HOA would make you replant.
Haul it off, mulch it on-site, or leave usable firewood — we ask what you want done with the material instead of deciding for you. Nothing gets buried on site, which the city prohibits anyway.

Almost always, once trees are involved. Every understory tree 8 in. and up and every canopy tree 18 in. and up on the site needs a tree removal permit, tree-save and undisturbed buffers can't be cleared without written approval from Planning and Development, and clearing tied to construction goes through a land disturbance permit. Both are options. Mulching on-site is usually the cheaper route and leaves usable ground cover; full haul-away costs more but leaves a completely clean site. We'll price both during the estimate so you can decide.
Tree removal is priced per tree. Land clearing is priced by area and density — how much ground is covered and how thick the growth is — because the equipment and time scale with the footprint, not the tree count.
